I got Hannah this pumpkin (which came with paints) to paint this year. We are not yet into "carving" and she really really enjoyed it!
She looks pretty good here but actually had her first ear infection in 9 months over the weekend. She woke up during the middle of the night several times on Friday night. We would check on her but let her cry it out. I finally gave her some Motrin early Saturday and she went back to sleep. Once she got up, we were sitting on the couch and I was nursing Hudson and noticed this yellow drainage draining out of her left ear. Sure enough, after checking, she had a full blown yucky ear infection! Thankfully, we know the tubes are working because it was draining. I called in an antibiotic for her (I usually do not treat my own child, but... it was the weekend and our office was not on call) and she got two doses in on Saturday and some ear drops. By Sunday she was much better even though her ear oozed a couple of days. She still has 3 more days of antibiotics but seems to be doing great!
