I am so Thankful...

This year we were THANKFUL to continue a Yeager tradition of Thanksgiving at the Gaylord. We packed up the car (filled to capacity with luggage, bouncer, stroller, presents, diapers, snacks, toys, etc.) on Wednesday and headed to Dallas to the Gaylord Texan. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, we spent lots of time enjoying the hotel and our family.

We were THANKFUL to enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving Buffet with all of our family. Along with Mimi and Pops, we met Autumn, Chad, Ellie, Parker, Mema, Patti, John, Kamber, Tim, Kylie, Sean, Brady and Bryson there! We were able to sit together and enjoy this wonderful meal.

Hannah didn't eat very well which is very unusual considering she loves the traditional Thanksgiving foods.

I am so THANKFUL to have such beautiful, healthy, well behaved children. These good babies took slept great in their hotel cribs and even took 3 hour naps each day! While they napped, Mommy read a good book that Mimi recommended called The Help.

We were also THANKFUL to have Thanksgiving with my family. It was great to see Great Grandma (I guess I didn't get any pictures!) and Linda was visiting too!

Aunt Harriet made Hannah her own Pumpkin Pie this year!

We had a blast hanging out in the suite with our cousins! Ellie really enjoyed Hudson, Hannah loved hanging out with Ellie, Bryson loved Hannah, and Brady loved Ellie. They kids, so close in ages, had a wonderful time!

We were THANKFUL that the grandparents watched all the kids one night so the "big kids" could enjoy a night out together.

Hudson sure enjoyed all of the attention.

I am THANKFUL for matching PJ's. Friday morning, Mimi treated Mommy to a massage in the spa and then all of the girls had lunch together. The Daddy's took care of the kids and went to Outdoor World! Saturday morning the four of us headed to Plano again for Christmas card pictures...

Saturday afternoon, Chad, Stuart, and Pops went to the Tech vs Baylor game at Cowboy's stadium. They got to sit in a luxury box and Stuart called it an experience of a lifetime. The girls stayed back and Mimi, Hannah, Ellie, and I went to dinner together and walked around the hotel.

Sunday morning we slept in, enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in our suite, and waited while the other 1400 guests checked out. Finally around 1:00 we packed it up and headed out.

But before leaving, we had to take some pictures of the kids at the resort.

I am THANKFUL for how much Hannah has grown in the past year. This year she was very interested in everything at the hotel. She loved the trains, people, characters, etc.

This year I am THANKFUL to have such a sweet, laid back, precious, healthy son to share the holidays with.

And I am very THANKFUL for my husband. Our fourth anniversary happened to fall on Thanksgiving Day this year! He is an amazing father and I am THANKFUL for everything he does for our family.

I am so Thankful for so many things this year. To say we have been blessed in 2009 is an understatement. Our family has been blessed beyond measure with the birth of our son, the closeness and love from our family, great friends, our jobs, our babysitters, our health, and so much more. I could go on and on because I have so much to be Thankful for.
