Yes, that is pizza sauce, snot, and drool and Hudson's face. This is the real Hudson!
It rained! It rained! We finally had a substantial rain fall on Thursday. We are in such a drought and the skies opened up on Thursday and down came the rain! Our poor duck pond is drying up and we drive by it several times a week and the kids pray for rain so the duckies have a home. Boy were those duckies happy to see the rain! Of course we were unprepared for the rain and drop in temperature as I sent two kids in short sleeved shirts and shorts off to school and temperature never got above 60. I also got trapped in a building in Odessa without an umbrella but it didn't matter, we are just thankful for the rain.
And to celebrate our wet grounds, the kids enjoyed the cool temperatures and played outside most of the evening. It was a beautiful sight!
