Last week I attended the Association of Junior Leagues International's Annual Conference in San Francisco. AJLI has a Fall, Winter, and Annual Conference. The Junior League of Midland sent me the Incoming President Elect, Sarah the incoming President, and Cari the outgoing President. This was such an amazing experience! We had several training workshops and attended the annual meetings and dialogs for the Association. We also found some time to enjoy the weather and beautiful San Francisco.
The West Texas Incoming President Elects (we are missing a few!)
From Left to Right: Odessa, Bell County, El Paso, Wichita Falls, Midland, San Angelo, Amarillo, and Abilene.
The West Texas girls tend to stick together which makes a great network!

This was the longest time I have ever been away from the kids. It was hard and Stuart did great! On Thursday I called him to see how the morning went and he said it was long. The kids go to school from 9 to 4 on Thursdays. Stuart: Hannah wanted a braid so I took her to Sports Clips for a braid, then we went to the doctor. Jennifer: Why, what doctor? Stuart: He choked on a doughnut and he sounded funny so I took him to the Dr. N's. Jennifer: Who did you see? Stuart: One of the girls. Jennifer: Is he okay. Stuart: Oh yeah, one of the girls listened to him and said he was fine. (Last JL trip he choked on a jolly rancher!) Stuart: Then we went to school and I took Hudson to class and then Hannah but when I was walking out Hudson's teacher stopped me and asked me if I brought Hudson a lunch. I hadn't so I went to Super Burrito and bought him a burrito, capri sun, and fruit snack.
Tuesday when I took them to school I found out that they strolled in around 11:30!
I missed them terribly but had a great time and am looking forward to Fall Conference in Chicago in September!

sooo proud of you Jennifer!! You have arrived girl! Heck you arrived a long time ago!
And I remember so vividly being in your Mom's room right before you were born...and seeing your right after you were born! Time flies!
She is so proud of you! :)
