Open House

Today was Hannah's open house at school. There are eight kids in Hannah's class, three boys and five girls. There are 4 October birthdays, 4 December birthdays and 1 January birthday. Hannah is actually 2nd to the youngest. Some of the kids are walking and all the others crawling. At school the kids do music, art, story time, etc. I am just in love with her program. They have a calender for everyday and they are learning so much. Each day concentrates on a bible verse, a song, a book, tactile stuff, gross motor stuff, etc. Hannah has brought home some beautiful art work! We are so proud of her! The teachers say she doesn't smile at school. I am not sure why not, she smiles a lot at home.

At Open House today we got to see all the kids with their parents. Everyone was in class today. The music teacher came in and we sat on the mat and sang several songs. We used noise shakers, scarves, and our hands while we sang. Hannah is good at doing at the teacher does. The teachers also presented us with bound books of what our children have done so far. The whole book had pictures of Hannah doing the things they do in school. There was pictures of her first day, eating lunch, napping, playing outside, riding in the buggy, cleaning out a pumpkin, painting her pumpkin, music class, and other pictures of her playing in class.

I am so fortunate to have Hannah in such a wonderful program. It is comforting to know that she is in such good hands while away from us.
