Not too much to blog about here, and I don't have any new pictures to post. Saturday night was our office Christmas party at Dr. N's house. It was a lot of fun and really good food. I am so thankful to work with such wonderful people and seriously feel like I have a dream job!
Sunday, Hannah started running a fever and slept until 11am and then took a 4 hour nap that I had to wake her from. I figured there was something going on and finally convinced Stuart to hold Hannah down so I could check her ears. Sure enough, they didn't look good, so I brought her up to the office yesterday and she has 2 ear infections. This is now our fourth month/set of ear infections. Basically, since she started school she has had an ear infection every month. I saw this one coming a mile away with the snotty nose! I knew it would eventually go to the ears. I had been managing the snot with some office samples for a week and thought it was getting better but Sunday it took a turn for the worse and she is even more congested now. She started on antibiotics and seemed to feel better today although she is super snotty. So we are back on the decongestant to dry her up and on our fourth round of antibiotics!

Poor baby! I hope she feels better soon! Sick babies are so sad!! Cooper is over his RSV...I think it was a pretty mild case because he handled it like a champ! But I'm sure we'll see you again for something in the near future! I feel like we live at your office...we were there once a week for a while!!
Not to play nurse here but...Jared had terrible ear infections the first 8 months. Sherry Fishman suggested that the whey/dairy in the formula and little bit of cheese was making him too "mucus-y" so we switched to soy based fomula and soy cheese and the ear infections went away. At about 1 1/2 to 2 we reintroduced dairy and he was fine. He was diagnosed with celiac disease last year but that is a whole different post!!! (BTW he turns 16 the end of January) Hope you all are well. Many XOX, Suzanne
Hope Hannah is feeling better! My experience has been that kids just pick up a lot of illnesses in child care. Nicholas never had an ear infection until he entered day care at age 2; Camille was sick the entire 6 weeks I had her in full-time day care about two years ago, but doing better now with a part-time care situation. The upside is that the kids develop a strong immune system. Hang in there! Cousin Alice
i'm very jealous of your nursing abilities. I always wonder if the boys are sick.
Poor Hannah, she has had her share of those infections. I hope she is feeling much better for her first Christmas!
