Relaxing with Uncle Barry

Aunt Susie

Wow! Thanksgiving has come and gone and we are nearly in the middle of December! 19 days until Santa says my Advent Calender in my (new) kitchen! Where did Fall go? Is it really Hannah's birthday month?
We have had an incredibly busy last two weeks. On Wednesday we left for Dallas to spend Thanksgiving with our Grandmothers and cousins. Hannah did great on the drive there, ate Chick-fil-A and used her sippy cup. We arrived at the hotel and had a driver take us in a private car to Wylie where we had Thanksgiving at our cousin Kylie's house. It was so much fun and dinner was great! Hannah was able to meet several different cousins that we had never met. Thursday we had a wonderful lunch at the Gaylord with Stuart's Mema, and Thursday night headed to Plano to have our third Thanksgiving with my grandma and aunt and uncle. On Friday, Lynn, Kylie, Kamber, and I enjoyed a morning at the spa while the husbands watched the kids and went to Bass Pro Shop. We hung out at the hotel all day on Friday. This hotel was amazing! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas with live reindeer, Santa, trains, trees, gingerbread houses, etc. Magical! Our room over looked the reindeer and you could sit out on your balcony and people watch forever. It was very crowded. They have the ICE exhibit there where there are tons of gorgeous ice sculptures. It is -9 degrees in there and you wear these big parkas while you walk through there. We had such a great time hanging out with Kylie, Sean, and their precious boys Brady and Bryson. Brady and Bryson are hilarious and Hannah loves Bryson! She tried to take everything he had and followed him all around. Saturday we packed up and headed to the airport to pick up my sister who had been in Midland with my Dad. Susie was so excited to see Hannah! We ate lunch at Chuy's (One of Stu's favorite places when we were living in Houston) and spent the afternoon shopping at Willowbend. We then headed over to Aunt Harriet and Uncle Barry's house for dinner with Grandma. Sunday we got up early and stopped to eat breakfast with Elicia at Cracker Barrel. I always love getting to see E! And then it was on our way home. I slept most of the trip along with Hannah.
When we got home we had a million things to do because movers would be at our house at 8:30am to move us! And, at 8:30 am sharp, the move began. Mimi helped out with Hannah and Stuart and I went to work moving and unpacking. To tell you all the truth, (and Stuart did a ton of other stuff) I unpacked and put away every single box by my self.
We spent the rest of the week working on getting our house done. I decorated for Christmas and today we are getting our lights on the outside.
Christmas parties have begun and we had two today. We had to miss the one this morning because Erin Black came to do our Christmas card photos! I can't wait to see how they turn out! Lots of stuff going on around here!
