Green Stuff

This week Hudson started "real" foods. I exclusively nursed him until about 2 weeks ago when we started cereal. He took the cereal great but I waited unti we can completed an entire can before I started other solids. We started with greenbeans and five days later tried peas. He seemed to really enjoy both of them! Hannah did not like green veggies at all so we moved onto orange and yellow ones and fruits pretty fast. Although we are just now introducing these foods I have been feeding him a crackers and puffs here and there. Today at brunch he ate an entire pancake! Stuart thinks I need to feed him more because he is skinnier than Hannah was when she was baby.
On a different note... Hudson and I took a trip to Dallas on Tuesday. We left very very early, and flew home late that evening. It was just the two of us and boy did it seem easy just traveling with one child! Not only did it seem so much easier but everyone was so helpful and made going through security with my purse, diaper bag, Hudson, a stroller, a car seat, a purse, and some extra shopping bags on the on way home very easy. The hardest part of the trip is getting on the rental car bus with all of those things but some very nice people helped me. Both legs of the trip the plane was fairly empty so I was able to carry Hudson in his car seat onto the plane and he got his own seat. Our trip was very quick. We made it to Dallas, rented a car, dropped off my good camera at the camera store to get fixed, visited Grandma, at lunch with her, headed to Denton, went to an appointment, drove back to the Galleria, made a mad dash to Ann Taylor Loft, blew a gift card in 45 minutes, headed for the airport, filled up the rental car, returned the car, went through security and flew home. Stuart was also out of town in Houston on business so Hannah was home with Angie. Thank goodness everything went smoothly and I made it home in time to put Hannie to bed.
