Duck Duck Goose!

We pass by the duck pond everyday on our way to school. Hannah loves to talk to the ducks! We will be in mid conversation and she will interrupt me and say something like "Hi duckies!!! I go to school" "Hi Duckies! You take a night night!" See you later duckies" and when we potty trained, "Hi duckies! I go tee tee in the potty! I wear Mickey Mouse panties, duckies, bye duckies!" And, on our way home, she always says "Bye duckies! See you later! Have a good night night!"
A couple of weeks ago I picked her up from Friday school and we stopped by the duck pond, we couldn't stay long because she needed to potty and Mommy didn't bring the ducks any food. She sure enjoyed it though and I told her we would go back. Today as I was running out of the house (because I needed to get to Fat Jacks in Odessa to buy some cookies, just for me to enjoy over the weekend, What???) I grabbed a loaf of bread that I knew would go bad soon. After school we stopped at the duck pond and we got out with our loaf of bread. The ducks started running (waddling fast?) towards us! I got kind of nervous, were we going to be attacked by the geese? They were loud and all over us. They took bread right out of your hand. I am shocked Hannah was not scared. She fed them, chased them, and played with them! She really liked the white ones but the darker ones were far more friendlier. These ducks ate so fast we went through a whole loaf in no time! I couldn't get her to leave! I promised her we will go back! It was a beautiful day today and I loved seeing my daughter at the same duck pond I used to go to feeding the ducks just like I did.
