We took a little tour of Texas this week. We took off after school on Tuesday and met Mimi and Pops out at the ranch. We had a wonderful steak dinner at Navajo Grill and the kids were very well behaved especially after being in the car for 3 1/2 hours without a nap! They were thrilled to see Mimi and Pops and get out to the ranch. We were so impressed with all the improvements Pop's has made since we were there last and loved getting to see the new barns. Pops fixed a big ranch breakfast and Mimi and I enjoyed a beautiful walk through the ranch. I could do that every single day, its just so breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful out there. We headed into town and ate lunch and then visited the Pacific War Museum. This is a fantastic museum and we all enjoyed it. We had dinner in town again but this time sat outside, enjoyed live music, and a glass of wine. The kids loved the music and we had such a wonderful evening. It just doesn't get better than that! It was a beautiful night! We can't wait until we can go back for longer!
