Last week I accompanied Hannah's CDO class on a field trip to the Central Fire Station. This was Hannah's first field trip. She could either ride in the van or ride with me. She chose to ride with me until she saw all the rest of her class getting in the van. At that point I wasn't going to pull the car seat out of my car and put it in the van and make everyone wait on us so I promised her next time she would ride in the van. She is taking a field trip in two weeks at Preschool and she will get ride an actual school bus, so she is looking forward to it.
The firemen were great and the tour was great! We got to see where the firemen sleep, eat, and relax. We saw and sat in the firetrucks, ambulance, and watched the really big ladder go up! It was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to our next field trip in a couple of weeks!
