This week I co-chaired Midland Children's Rehabilitation Center's (MCRC) Take the Money and Run! The party was Thursday night and was such a success! The rain held off until 9:30pm right before the final drawing! I think everyone had a wonderful time. MCRC is truly blessed by this community's generosity! The Run took place this morning and I must admit, I did nothing to help with this part of the event. It was also a success and very fun for the children. The MCRC children ran first, followed by the kids in different age groups. Parent child games such as a water balloon toss were next followed by a drawing where we won a Nintendo DS! I had to run from the event to Casa de Amigo's for Junior League's Family First! What a great day for our community!
