I guess I didn't do so well at the blog thing, but with Hannah Grace's arrival hopefully, I will be pressured to stay on top of it more and especially post lots of pictures for all to see!
An update... So, in August, Stuart and I "moved" to Houston - the Conroe/Woodlands to be exact. We spent 4 whole months there in a corporate apartment so Stuart could head up an expansion project at the conroe plant for DOWDCO. While we were there we "weathered" the rain, heat, and humidity until I begin to wonder why pregnant women were allowed to live in Houston when they wern't allowed in saunas! As my tummy continued to grow, so did Stuart's projects. He is so talented! I did two rotations for my NP, one at a school based clinic for non-insured patients in a bad part of town that took me over an hour to get to each day and another at a wonderful Kelsey Seybold pediatric practice in the Woodlands. Both were wonderful experiences and it was actually nice to be able to do a rotation outside of Midland.
On December 8th, and 35 weeks pregnant we packed up and headed back to our home here in Midland! We are so happy to be home, back with our families and friends. We missed you! The last few weeks have been very busy, we are getting Hannah's room ready for her to come home to, Christmas shopping, and cleaning and organizing our house. Stuart has also taken on a new job at DOWDCO and is now the Plant Manager. We are very excited about Christmas and seeing Stuart's sister and her family (Autumn, Chad, Ellie (4yrs) and Parker (7mo) and my sister Susan who will be coming home from New York! Mostly, we are just counting down the days until Hannah gets here! And if I don't post again until then, We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy New Year!
