We took a non traditional route for Christmas this year and headed to Dallas. We left Thursday after Hannah's program and arrived at the Gaylord Texas that evening. We spent a wonderful week there with Mimi and Pops and were also able to spend time with lots of other family members! I loved spending Christmas at a hotel!
On Saturday we went over to my Dad's where Santa had left a few presents for the kids, we visited with Aunt Susie and Uncle Jason and then had lunch with my Grandma, Aunt, Uncle, Dad, Susie and Jason. Saturday night we had a wonderful dinner with Stuart's Uncle! We left the hotel and had a yummy seafood dinner at Trulucks with Ricky and Glen!

Mimi let the kids open a gift each night at the hotel. The first night we opened some fun gifts to wear and play with while we were on vacation.
Sunday night The Yeager cousins came over. Mimi and Patty had on the same shirt! The kids loved playing with their cousins and exposing the boys to Barbies and girly things. The grown ups enjoyed visiting.

Santa left our gifts at home in Midland but brought out stockings to the hotel! We also brought our cookies and reindeer food for him.
Christmas brunch
It snowed! This was taken right when the snow started. The snow and frozen roads derailed our plans to go to Plano and have dinner with my side of the family.
