Fall Festival at FPC

To round out our weekend of birthday and Halloween parties (keep in mind Halloween isn't actually here yet and we still have more school parties and possible a Halloween Parade) we attend the Fall Festival at FPC. Mimi and Pops came by before we left and took this great pic and brought the kids some great Halloween books!

We brought our golfer and mermaid again...
played games

did the cake walk with friends

Ate
and had our "arm" painted
We were so tired and worn out from all the Halloween festivities that we didn't last too long! We headed home, bathed, and got ready for tomorrow's Halloween Day fun!

Adult Halloween Party

After taking the kids to the club party we had our own Adult Halloween Party! I was so impressed by the creative costumes! Stuart went at "Occupy Midland" and I was Audrey Hepburn!

Kids Halloween Party

Saturday we went to the country club for their Halloween Party. We brought our golfer...

and our Little Mermaid

We played on the playground
We ate!
Took a hayride
Rode a horse

Painted pumpkins with our friends
Spent time with Pops

And picked out and ate treats with Mimi

CDO Pumpkin Parties

Thursday kicked off our busy weekend of Halloween and Birthday parties with our CDO Pumpkin Parties. Last year, Hud didn't have parties in the baby room so this year I had balance two parties, one upstairs and the other downstairs. It went okay but I felt like I was running up and down stairs the whole time. Good workout! Hannah was a chef or a "baker man" and Huddy was pirate. Neither one had their hats on when I got to the party!

The temperature also dropped from the 80's to the 40's Thursday so we had to bundle up!

Cheer Clinic and Football Game

Last week Hannah attended Cheer Clinic where K3-3rd graders got to meet and hang out with the cheerleaders and learn a cheer and dance to perform at the Friday night football game. The highlight of cheer clinic... being lifted up in a stunt by the cheerleaders!

So, Friday night came and we had another water break! While Daddy and the City fixed it the kids and I headed to the school for the game.
Our future line man was ready to cheer on his sister and the Chargers
Hannie and her friend Baryn in their matching minky suits!
Hud really likes sweet B
Hannah and her little classmate friend Emma
Waiting to go out on the field

Daddy had out water break fixed and water turned back on just in time to see his favorite cheerleader

Hudson's Open House

Today was Huddy Buddy's open house (Hannah's CDO open house was last week during the evening, Stuart and I attended sans our honor student). Hud shed a few tears as I sat in his classroom but straightened up pretty quick unlike Hannah over the years. It was great to see Hud in his class interacting with his peers. He is clearly one of the youngest and their is a big difference between him and the kids who are 6 months older. He loves his teachers and seems to really be enjoying school.

I got to school a little early and found my favorite girl on the playground. She was more than willing to pose for a few pics and slide the down the slide!
