Christmas 2013

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We spent Christmas with our family in San Antonio. We had such a great time together with Mimi and Pops and our cousins.

Pre Christmas Festivities

We were really busy up until Christmas. We attended lots of parties and enjoyed celebrating the season!

We took the kids to see Santa and Mrs. Claus at the country club

Gymnastics

The kids are enrolled in gymnastics together once a week. They both enjoy it and it is good for Hudson's coordination and strength. Hannah just loves it! She is constantly doing handstands and cartwheels everywhere.

Cold Weather Fun

Exactly two weeks after our first ice storm, we had another. I dropped the kids off Thursday knowing that they would cancel school before lunch. By the time I walked back to my car it had frozen over. By 11:00am they had called school for Thursday and Friday and with temperatures not rising about 20 degrees for the next few days, I knew we needed something to curve the cabin fever.

Friday I cleaned out the kitchen but Saturday we made Gingerbread Houses.
We finally warmed up by Sunday and we were able to ride bikes and enjoy the sunshine again!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We headed down to San Antonio to enjoy a long weekend with family.

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner and ate too much!

We got a "reserved" table to watch our favorite performer Jeff Wood sing and play guitar Friday night.

The kids painted, danced, and played at Kids Camp

They loved goofing around with their cousins!

We had breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus

And Elves tucked us into bed!

We are thankful for our family and opportunities to spend the holidays with them!

Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day at school fell right before the Thanksgiving break. Thursday we had 80 degree temperatures and Friday morning it was sleeting and in the lower 20's. Pops made it town to see Hannah perform in the program and visit the kids classroom!
They loved having Pops visit their school!
Thanks for braving the winter weather for the kids!
