First Snow of the year

We had our first snow of the year before school started back. It wasn't much but that didn't stop the kids from wanting to get out in it first thing in the morning! They didn't last long out there, hot cocoa and the fire were much more appealing!

Hudson's Haircut

Before Thanksgiving (I am playing catch up!) Hannah came running into our room saying Hudson cut his hair! We run out and start yelling at Hudson for cutting his hair, using scissors, etc. Then it hit us! Hudson does not have the fine motor skills to use those big scissors like that on his hair. We asked Hudson, who cut your hair and he told us Hannah did it. Hannah adamantly denied it but we know the truth!

New Years at the Ranch

We spent New Years at the ranch with our family and extended family. It was so much fun! The kids had so much fun. It was cold but they spent two full days running and running and running outside with their cousins. They went on a hayride, played on the swing set, drove the razor, played with Mia,  made up games, and basically spent quality time together.

We rung in the New Year with a party full of friends, neighbors, and family up at the barn. There was dancing, delicious food, and fireworks!

Welcome 2013! It is going to be a wonderful year!
