With an Oink Oink here and an Oink Oink there...

Halloween 2010: We've got Miss Piggy and Hudson the Giraffe!

Halloween isn't here yet but we are already partied out! We had the pumpkin carving party, a party at dance, a huge kids Halloween party Tuesday night, school parties, and we still have all weekend to eat the candy and gear up for Sunday!

Duck Duck Goose!

We pass by the duck pond everyday on our way to school. Hannah loves to talk to the ducks! We will be in mid conversation and she will interrupt me and say something like "Hi duckies!!! I go to school" "Hi Duckies! You take a night night!" See you later duckies" and when we potty trained, "Hi duckies! I go tee tee in the potty! I wear Mickey Mouse panties, duckies, bye duckies!" And, on our way home, she always says "Bye duckies! See you later! Have a good night night!"
A couple of weeks ago I picked her up from Friday school and we stopped by the duck pond, we couldn't stay long because she needed to potty and Mommy didn't bring the ducks any food. She sure enjoyed it though and I told her we would go back. Today as I was running out of the house (because I needed to get to Fat Jacks in Odessa to buy some cookies, just for me to enjoy over the weekend, What???) I grabbed a loaf of bread that I knew would go bad soon. After school we stopped at the duck pond and we got out with our loaf of bread. The ducks started running (waddling fast?) towards us! I got kind of nervous, were we going to be attacked by the geese? They were loud and all over us. They took bread right out of your hand. I am shocked Hannah was not scared. She fed them, chased them, and played with them! She really liked the white ones but the darker ones were far more friendlier. These ducks ate so fast we went through a whole loaf in no time! I couldn't get her to leave! I promised her we will go back! It was a beautiful day today and I loved seeing my daughter at the same duck pond I used to go to feeding the ducks just like I did.

Haircuts

Yesterday I took the kids to get their haircuts. Hannah loved it and asked Melanie if she could do it again! She really likes her new do! Brother just needed a clean up and he looks good too!

Goolish Treats!!!

Grand Dad sent us a Pumpkin Cake! Hannah was so excited!!!

Aunt Susie made some "goolish" treats for a work contest!

Birthday Parties

We have had quite a few birthday parties lately. Hannah's friends are turning 3 and 4 and it seems like there is a party every couple of weekends. Hannah loves parties! She loves to jump, sing Happy Birthday, and eat cake. Hannah can also tell you exactly when her birthday is and the other day when I went to a birthday party, she asked me, "Mommy going to jump too?"

Lillian and George turned 3 and had a Mickey Mouse Birthday Party! I had to work so Daddy got both kids ready and took both kids to the party by himself!

Hannah had her first attempt at a Pinata. She was not an aggressive hitter.

She did hhowever, enjoy the contents!

Baryn had her 4th Birthday Party! A Wizard of Oz Party.

Hannah was so excited to see Miss Debra there!

We made haunted gingerbread house! Notice the Wicked Witch's Legs!

Brody liked the icing!

Pumpkin Party

Friday night we were invited to a Pumpkin Carving Party hosted by the Campbells. They had catered brisket and hot dogs for the kids. The kids each picked out their own big pumpkin from a trailer and the Daddy's got to carving. The kids used stickers and paint pens to decorate their smaller pumpkins. Daddy drew Mickey Mouse and carved it into our pumpkin and it won first place!

Two Little Pumpkins Sitting in the Patch!

It's that time of year again! Did I mention I LOVE Fall? I heart all things pumpkin, especially my children playing, smiling, posing (or not) among them! I have been looking forward to going to the pumpkin patch and it has become a family tradition. This year has been the best! The pumpkins are big, round, and very very orange! But, just in case you need to reminisce like I do, you can see us at this Pumpkin Patch in 2009 and in 2008. Seriously, how cute was this little pumpkin! I must say, it was a lot easier to get Hannah to be still enough to take her picture back then.
