Easter 2012

Chicks!

I bought the kids some baby chicks for Easter. They are really cute the kids have loved them. I wanted the colored ones but they only had yellow ones left when I got them. Tomorrow they are going to a friends house where they will raise them for eggs. We started out with six of them, we lost 2 of them (by either traumatic injury or strangulation). Hudson loves to grab them and run around with them. Another one fell in the potty somehow but it survived. At least our dogs will be happy to have these chicks go bye bye tomorrow.

Easter Hunts One, Two, and Three

Egg Hunt Number One: We started out with Hannah's CDO class. We had an egg hunt and a pizza party picnic.

Number Two: Hudson's CDO class had their hunt later on in the day. He surprised me and really got a lot of eggs. He learned this year that there is candy and treats in them!

Number Three: At Hannah's school. Wow! We went all out for a joint K3 and K4 Easter Celebration! The Easter Bunny made a surprise visit, we had a big hunt, and then had a picnic!
