Christmas Programs

Hannah had a Christmas Play

And then a few days later the Service of Lessons and Carols. Because it is a service, you cannot take pictures, so I snagged one of her before it started!

Christmas with friends

We had our annual PJ gift exchange with our friends before we left town!

Celebrating the Season

We went to a couple of Christmas Parties this year.

But, before one of them, we celebrated with friends!
And we really celebrated my friend Michelle!
We just found out she is going to be the next President Elect of Junior League!
You have no idea how excited I am to share this experience with a best friend!

We attended an Annual Santa Party where the kids participated in a snowball fight!

More Elfcapades

Our Elf headed back to the North Pole early this year since we were leaving town.

Elf on the Shelf Day 1-11

Our Elf "Arnie" arrived on December 1st. He brought the Elf on the Shelf DVD and a fun Christmas Advent Calendar. The kids were excited to see our elf and have been really into it this year. Each night our elf flies to the North Pole and "reports" to Santa our behavior for the day.

Day 3: Arnie took a bubble bath

Day 4: Arnie flew on an airplane

Blue Shelf

Hannah attends a preschool with a Montessori Curriculum. The class has all been on the Red Shelf all year and are just beginning to advance individually to the next shelf. Hannah was one of the first two kids in her class to advance to the Blue Shelf. The class and teachers make a big deal celebrating this advancement. We are so proud of our Hannie!

Coterie Club Christmas Dance

Last Thursday Stuart and I took a quick trip to Houston for his company Christmas party. We had a great time with the company. The food was amazing, we had casino games, and just enjoyed a night out together. I am so proud of Stuart as he has taken on a large role in the company this year. It was great to see him and celebrate the company.

Friday night we attended the Coterie Club Christmas Dance. It is a semi-formal event and always a fun group of people. We enjoyed being able to dress up, go out to dinner with our best friends and then celebrate the holidays with great friends.
