Texas State Fair

We took the kids to the State Fair in Dallas last weekend. It was so much fun and my camera died early on so unfortunately I didn't get many pictures from my good camera. At some point I will add my phone pics too.
The weather was cold (50's) and drizzly and we didn't dress very warm but it did not stop us from having fun. We ate our way through fried food heaven. We rode rides and walked through exhibits. We had a great time and look forward to going back.

Gig Em Aggies

Fire Ants

Hudson played soccer for the first time this season. Hannah didn't play so this was new to us. It has actually been much more fun than I had imagined. Hudson has really enjoyed it and has done a good job! He scored 5 goals in one game!  His team is the Fire Ants. He has great precious kids on his team and a wonderful coach. We have a couple games left this season and I have really enjoyed watching the little guys improve.

First Day of School 2013

Hannah and Hudson started school last week. We are sad that summer has come to an end but excited for a new school year.

Both kids are at the same school five days a week. Hannah started Kindergarten and Hudson K3.

We had a rough first morning on the first day of school. We are about 15 minutes late. Here is day 2. We had it more together!

Hudson is 4!

Hudson turned 4 this week! He was so excited to turn 4! He woke up and told me he would never be three again! He told everyone we saw that it was his birthday.

This is the first year that we have had a party for Hudson. He had been asking for one for we had a small party at the pool. He wanted a Mickey Mouse party but a pirate theme was more appropriate for the pool.

We had a great time celebrating and we are looking forward to starting K3 next week!

Lake Tahoe 2013

We had a wonderful vacation in Lake Tahoe! Lake Tahoe is so beautiful and we enjoyed the trees, water, and slightly cooler temperatures!
