A New Year and More!

I apologize for getting so behind on blogging! It hasn't been that busy, I just haven't been blogging like I usually do.

We spent a nice quiet New Year's Eve at home asleep! We decided to for-go the parties and instead had a nice dinner at Wall Street as a family and then came home and went to bed around 10:00. It was a wonderful end/beginning of the new year! I spent all day New Year's Day in my pajamas!

Monday I went back to work, after 2 weeks off, it was nice to go to work. This week, I also took cooked and took 3 of my friends dinner. Two had recently had babies (boys!) and one had surgery in December.

Hannah should have gone back to school on Tuesday but instead we went to the doctor for her 12 month well check. Her well check went great and she is in the 90th percentile for height (which surprises me because she looks smaller than most of her classmates!) at 31 inches (I think!) That is 11 inches that she has grown in her first year. She is in the 75th percentile for weight, weighing 22lbs. 2 oz. That is about 15 pounds she gained over the year! She is doing everything she is supposed to being at this age. While she is still not walking on her own, she is getting closer each day. Hannah got her 12 month shots too on Tuesday and her blood drawn. She is still iron deficient anemic and will have to go back on iron for probably another 6 months. It was after 10:00 by the time we got out of there and she was so tired that I just let her come home and sleep. I knew she wouldn't sleep at school, so we both came home and put back on our PJ's and took a nap! It was a nice day! We also found out that Hannah's ears are still infected but saw some improvement with the Clindamycin. We are currently on another 10 days of Clindamycin. Wednesday I went to work and Stuart headed to Houston for some meetings. When I picked Hannah up from Mimi's at 6ish, she was laying in Mimi's lap with a high fever. I gave her some Tylenol and we went home. She was moaning, whining, and did not feel good. She woke up at 2:00am with another high fever and I gave her Tylenol, loved on her, and cooled her off. Turns out she had a reaction to her MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) vaccine. She had to miss school again Thursday because of the fever and acting sick. Poor baby was back to her normal self by Friday morning. Thursday night I hung out at my friend Darby's for her Just Ducky Original kids clothing show. She has a ton of cute outfits and we enjoyed the girl time!

Friday, Hannah and I had lunch with Terri and Thayne at Murray's and then went to the new bounce house place here with our friends Brooke and Cooper, Heidi, Wyatt and Hannah, Mindy, Cutter, and Cady, Terri and Thayne, and Leslee, Peyton and Zach! It was fun to see the older kids run around like crazy and Hannah and Thayne enjoyed toddler town and the big slide. The little kids were far more interested in going through all of our diaper bags than actually playing! Friday night, Stuart and I were in bed before 10 and I just woke up (at noon!). Stu got up at 9:00 with Hannah and was so nice to let me sleep in! Thanks Honey!

The naps and pj times sound so great! I just got invited to a Just Ducky show, so I'll have to go and see if they have anything cute for boys. Glad Hannah is feeling better.
