The school is over. I love school days and get so much done. It is nice not to have to get up and be somewhere but I haven't gotten a thing done in the past two weeks. Our first full week back was spent at VBS so we really haven't officially started "summer vacation." I have posted pictures of both kids at the start of the school year and now on the last day. It is amazing how much each of them has grown. Hannah has lost her baby face and her baby face all together. She is no longer a toddler. She is a little girl! An almost 3 1/2 year old with a 13 year old attitude sometimes and smarter than some 5 year olds. Her speech, comprehension, and memory have taken off this year. She is so smart and remembers everything. She is so inquisitive and ask pointed direct questions, especially when over hearing a conversation. She can spell her name, knows her phone number and address, knows her and Hudson's birthdays, can count past 20, and backwards from 10. She can almost write her name (those N's give us trouble), can draw a smiley face, circle, square, triangle, and sometimes a heart. She dresses and undresses herself, puts on and buckles her shoes (on the right feet), brushes her teeth, can make her bed, and most days know what day it is and what day is next. She has a very hard time going to bed at night and get outs of bed about 18 times. She loves Popsicles, snow cones, she can swing all by herself, and famously bosses her baby brother around!

A sleepy girl in May
Huddy! In August he had just turned one, didn't walk, didn't talk... oooh, such a baby! You are now a toddler, walking, climbing, talking, laughing. Hudson is saying tons of words. His favorites are Hannah, I'm done, Popsicle, Where's Mimi, Hot, Cold, Baby, car and ball. He loves to waves at people and is very affectionate. He loves his car, loves balls, loves his dogs, gives the best kisses and tries to do anything his sister does. He is a great eater and sleeper. He naps 1 to 2 times a day and goes to sleep around 8 and will sleep until 10:30 or 11:00. He is such a laid back happy kid. He marches to the beat of his own drum, loves to open and shut doors and follows good directions. Today I opened the oven to get the biscuits out and he pointed to it and said hot. He LOVES the water, bath or pool, he loves to splash and play in it. His main exit is the doggy door and sneaks outside whenever he can. He likes bubbles, the swings and the slides. The only time he is ever upset is when Hannah takes something from him. He has grown so much and such a sweet boy. He holds my hand when we walk and likes baby dolls (we call them his girlfriends). He likes to play with the big kids and laughs all the time.
